About this file
This Statement of Work outlines requirements for two Fabry Perot etalons needed for a wind lidar prototype operating at 780.2 nm wavelength. The items required are one Solid Etalon (60.0 mm diameter, 46.0 mm thickness) and one Air-Gapped Etalon (66.0 mm diameter, 15 mm thickness), both with specific optical characteristics including surface flatness, free spectral range, parallelism, and transmission requirements.
Both etalons require ultra-hard high energy coatings and protective aluminum cell mounting with dust covers. The Solid Etalon must achieve 81% transmission at 780.2 nm with an effective finesse of 16, while the Air-Gapped Etalon needs 84% transmission and effective finesse of 20. Delivery is required to NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD, with a period of performance of 21 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).
