About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for a portable helium leak detector to be delivered to Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. The required equipment must be a mass spectrometer-based detector with an integrated dry pump system capable of pumping speeds of at least 3 m³/hr during pumpdown and 2.5 l/s helium pumping speed in fine mode.

The technical specifications include dual mode operation (vacuum and sniffer), sensitivity requirements of 5E-12 mbarl/s in vacuum mode and 7E-9 mbarl/s in sniffing mode or better, KF/NF 25 connection port, integrated user control interface, and 115V/60 Hz power operation. The period of performance is scheduled for January 2025 through April 2025. This procurement is being managed by NASA's Shared Services Center for delivery to Building 4605 at Marshall Space Flight Center.
