About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity related to the NASA On Demand Manufacturing of Electronics (ODME) project. The objective is to develop supplemental semiconductor technology for in-space memory manufacturing.

The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1) Design and measure the performance of electrohydrodynamic (EHD) ink jet printed memory devices produced on-ground and in zero gravity during parabolic flight campaigns; 2) Develop the method to produce multitask Si wafers with trenches for use in memory manufacturing on-ground and in zero gravity during parabolic flight campaigns; and 3) Report on research progress and results of device characterization. The period of performance is October 2024 through March 2025, with the place of performance at Arizona State University and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

The related federal contract opportunity is a sole source procurement under FAR Part 12 and 13 for "Semiconductor Development for Inspace" to be awarded to Arizona State University. NASA/NSSC is the procuring agency, and the NAICS code is 611310. The government intends to evaluate responses to this Special Notice solely to determine if the requirement should be competed.
