About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a data acquisition system for high-speed Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to be purchased by NASA Ames Research Center. The key requirements include:

The data system must have at least 32 input channels, 16-bit or higher digitization resolution, over 2 MHz bandwidth, and be programmable for complex EIT acquisition sequences. It must include a graphical user interface (GUI) software and a Python API to control data acquisition parameters and stream data. The system will be initially installed at the NASA Ames PLASMA Lab but may be moved to other testing facilities as needed. Delivery is estimated at 5 weeks.

This SOW is associated with a federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number 80NSSC24877132Q-R1) for a "Spectrum digitizer NETBOX, 16 bit multi-purpose digitizer". The procurement is a brand name requirement from Spectrum Instrumentation GmbH, and is set aside for small businesses. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center is the participating federal agency.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

NASA Ames Research Center plans to purchase a data acquisition system for high-speed, Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to develop a system capable of time-resolved 3D tomographic reconstruction of the electrical impedance of a sample. One application of this technology is in-situ crack detection in thermal protection materials in high temperature test environments.

The data system will be used to collect simultaneous high frequency (1-10 MHz bandwidth) data from 32 channels suitable for digital demodulation of multiple mixed kHz frequencies.

The data system should be programmable for the complex acquisition sequences required for EIT and with high bit resolution (>=16 bit).

The information listed below is required to complete this purchase.
