About this file
This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for the HR-2-AM alloy powder (formulation II) required by NASA. The SOW specifies the composition requirements for the powder, including the nominal, minimum, and maximum weight percentages for each element. This SOW is related to a sole source procurement opportunity for the HR-2 Additive Manufacturing Powder, which NASA intends to acquire from LINDE ADVANCED MATERIAL TECHNOLOGIES INC. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The procurement will be conducted as a commercial item acquisition using the procedures in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort by 12 p.m. Central Standard Time on 5/17/2024, but the government reserves the sole discretion to determine whether to compete the procurement.
