About this file

This statement of work outlines requirements for miniature dynamic pressure transducers to be used in ballistic range tests conducted by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Specifically, it requires 18 Kulite model XCEL072 high temperature transducers with a pressure range of 1.7 BAR/25 PSI and over range of 1000 PSI, housed in 0.25" lengths with special sensor and package change options. An additional 6 transducers are required with a range of 70 BAR/1000 PSI and over range of 1000 PSI, housed at 0.25" in length and 0.072" in diameter. The statement of work also requires the supplier to provide a compensation circuit schematic. Delivery of all items is required within 30 weeks of award to NASA's Langley Research Center, with place of performance at the Kulite manufacturing facility in New Jersey and delivery by April 2024 under a period of performance ending then. This statement of work relates to solicitation 80NSSC23842919Q for unsteady pressure transducers to instrument ballistic range models, issued by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center.

4200842919 Statement of Work

1. Objective/Requirements:

Miniature Dynamic Pressure Transducers are expected to be used in upcoming ballistic range tests in support of NESC Aerosciences Technical Discipline studies for advancing the state of the art in prediction and modeling of dynamic stability of blunt entry vehicles. Models will be shot at the Transonic Range at the Army Research Laboratory in Aberdeen, MD. The pressure transducers will be installed on the test articles and used to record surface pressures during the test.
