This document contains guidance on submitting Source Approval Requests (SARs) to the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation for federal supply schedule items. It advises potential vendors to check item demand forecasts on the Supplier Requirements Visibility Application before submitting a SAR. The review process for a SAR can take over 180 days, after which the vendor will be notified of the decision by letter. The related opportunity provides information on National Stock Number 6615011199917 for a GYROSCOPE, RATE item, requesting manufacturers and points of contact for this item. Responses to the notice will not be considered offers or obligate the government to any award.
