(U//FOUO) This equipment will work in conjunction with existing hardware and proprietary software and will continue supporting x-ray capabilities necessary for the successful execution of SOSU operations. This specific equipment from NOVO DR Inc. enables interconnectivity between existing equipment for operational continuity. Procuring this x-ray technology from the same manufacturer allows the FBI to take advantage of common software tools, hardware devices, and existing equipment interoperability. This acquisition is required as soon as possible.

technology will ensure seamless integration with our existing inventory and enable the use of ready to deploy equipment. This technology is available from other manufacturers, but will not meet SOSU’s specialized mission requirements.

6. A description of efforts made to ensure that offers are solicited from as many potential sources as is practicable, including whether a notice was or will be publicized as required by Subpart 5.2 and, if not, which exception under 5.202 applies.
