Salient Characteristics for

60 MXS/MXMD

Power Measurement Calibration System Replacement

60 MXS / MXMD requires a replacement Fluke 7013-26 Dual Wet Well Temperature Bath or Hart Scientific 5309

The contractor shall provide the following:

Duel Wet Well Temperature Bath

- The Temperature Bath shall have sufficient space to accommodate several units under test, as well as a SPRT thermometer as a standard (2” diameter port or larger)

- The Temperature Bath shall have a minimum of 12” insertion depth

- The Temperature Bath shall have sufficient flow to generate a uniform temperature throughout the port, free of gradients to within .05 deg C

- The Temperature Bath shall have sufficient heating and cryogenic capacity to be able to reach and stabilize from ambient to 300 deg C in < 45 minutes, and from ambient to -100 deg C in < 90 minutes

- The Temperature Bath shall operate on 220VAC, 60 Hz single phase power

- The Temperature Bath shall be optimized for DOW 710, and Halocarbon 0.8 fluid

- The item shall have a warranty period of no less than 1 year (3-5 years highly desirable), which shall include repair/replacement of any defective components, or performance failure

- The item shall be furnished with any necessary accessories such as clamp stands, or ambient guards

- The replacement item shall be shipped to us ready for operation (after being filled with the appropriate heat transfer fluid)

- The Temperature Bath must ride on wheels or casters to facilitate relocation

- The Temperature Bath must be settable to 2 decimal places (C or F)

- IEEE-488 and RS-232 communication/control capability is highly desirable

Special Requirements:

- The replacement item shall be safely and securely packaged, and shipped to the 60th Maintenance Squadron via traceable mean in a timely manner once the contract is awarded. The time between contract award, and delivery of the item shall not exceed 145 days.
