Salient Characteristics: F2MT2M3026AW01 For Acquisition of Commercial Items

Section I: Salient Characteristics Hot Bonding equipment is used to control localized heat sources for composite aircraft surfaces. These surfaces are repaired by controlling heat at specific temperatures and locations to cure pre-impregnated fiberglass cloth and film adhesives. These units are portable so that can be used in remote areas of a weapons system. Hot Bonding Units have a designated number of zones per unit. The requirement for this project is to acquire 3 small portable composite repair systems each consisting of the following:

1.) Three small thermal control units with one heating zone.

2.) No less than 4 thermocouple inputs, 120/240 VAC, 16A power capacity.

3.) Vacuum monitor port with electrical power cords and accessories to operate each unit.

4.) Calibration, manufactured equipment with certificate of calibration Additionally, this requirement is includes:

1.) Two large portable Hot Bonders with no less than two heating zones and no more than 4 heating zones 2.) No less than 4 thermocouple inputs per zone, 3.) 120/240 VAC power cords for hazardous environments 4.) Vacuum monitor port with electrical power cords and accessories to operate each unit 5.) Integrated data printer and applicable printer paper ribbon 6.) Calibration, manufactured e quipment with certificate of calibration
