About this file
This document contains salient characteristics for several air hoists and a related federal contract opportunity solicitation. The salient characteristics describe technical specifications for 50-ton, 25-ton, 1-ton, and 1,100 pound capacity air hoists, including lift length, air pressure requirements, weight, overload protection, chain size, and compliance with industry standards. The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Defense Logistics Agency seeking brand name or equal air hoists manufactured to the material specifications. The solicitation will use simplified acquisition procedures and will result in a firm fixed-price supply contract for delivery to Bremerton, Washington by December 2022. The opportunity is set aside 100% for small businesses. Offerors should submit a completed quote including company information and quotes before the response date.
