Salient Characteristics S22071

PORTABLE SPECTRORADIOMETER SYSTEM

Salient Characteristics

2 ea. Spectroradiometer:

1. The system shall consist of a self-contained, stand-alone, Field Portable

Spectroradiometer and accessory equipment as described below.

2. Shall be a Visible Near Infra-Red (VNIR) type unit capable of operating in the spectral range from 350 to 1050 nm range.

3. Shall be capable of operating in a field or laboratory environment.

4. Shall include a built-in, touchscreen, sunlight readable, graphical LCD display.

5. Shall include built-in GPS with the ability to record longitude, latitude, and time of each spectral reading.

6. Shall include Foreoptic with a Field-of-View (FOV) on the order of 8-degrees.

7. Shall include a built-in camera.

8. Shall include Bluetooth communications for interfacing to a laptop or PC.

9. Shall have a bandwidth of less than or equal to 1.5 nm at 700 nm.

10. Shall include a NIST traceable calibration accuracy of +/-5% at 400 nm and 4% at 700 nm, or better.

11. Shall be capable of operating the instrument with or without the use of an external computer.

12. Shall have a Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM) resolution less than or equal to 3.2 nm at 700 nm, or better.

13. Shall incorporate the use of 100% linear array technology.

14. Shall be capable of storing at least 1,000 spectral readings.

15. Shall include a detachable, rechargeable, Lithium-ion type battery (minimum 1 ea. shall be provided). Battery shall be capable of providing at least 8 hours of operation on a full charge.

16. Shall include a hand strap and be capable of being mounted on a tripod.

17. Shall include a second Bluetooth communication interface that allows optional communication with external sensors.

18. Shall have USB and RS-232 communication interfaces.

19. Shall include a ruggedized, water-tight, field case for housing and transporting the instrument and accessories.

20. Shall include all required accessories such as, but not limited to, communication cable(s), battery charger and cable, software program(s), calibration data, and manual.

Required Optional Equipment

2 ea. Fiber Optic Light Guide

21. Shall have Field of View of approximately 8 degrees and a cable of at least 2 m in length.

2 ea. Foreoptic Device

22. Shall consist of a hand-held device with adapter and actuator.

23. Shall be capable of attaching the foreoptic and the fiber optic light guide.

2 ea. Reflectance Panel

24. Shall be no larger than 10” x 10” with 100% reflectance.

25. Shall be calibrated and enclosed in an aluminum frame.

2 ea. Radiometric Calibration for Light Guide

26. Shall include radiometric calibration for the fiber optic light guide.

2 ea. Radiometric Calibration for 8-Degree Foreoptic

27. Shall include radiometric calibration for the 8-degree Field-of-View foreoptic adapter and fiber optic.

2 ea. Battery Eliminator

28. Shall consist of power converter/inverter device and/or a cable that allows the instrument to be powered from an external 120 VAC power source.
