About this file

This document outlines the technical requirements for a contrast injector for mammography to be procured by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 22. The contrast injector must be compatible with Hologic mammography units, support full DICOM compliance for contrast tracking, and interface with commercial PACS systems. Additional requirements include adjustable flow rates from 0.1 to 10 mL/sec in 0.1 mL increments, programmable volumes from 1 to 150/200 mL syringe capacity in 1 mL increments, and programmable pressure limits for various syringe sizes. The injector must support up to six phases, operate on 100-240 VAC power, and maintain syringe temperature at 35 degrees C +/-5 degrees. Installation is required along with delivery and includes all necessary equipment and cables. Shipping and handling costs must be included in item pricing and cannot be separately priced.
