Dear Offeror:
Enclosed is a solicitation package prepared by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal
Correctional Institution Bennettsville, South Carolina, Contracting Office, for the acquisition of
Quarterly Subsistence items. This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a
Request for Quote for Evaluation. In submitting your offer, please consider all information provided herein. Follow all instructions located in the solicitation concerning the content, format and submission. Complete Standard Form 1449:
Block 12 - Discount Terms; Block 17 – Offerors’ Name, Address, Telephone and Fax Numbers and Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number; Block 30a, 30b & 30c - Signature of
Offeror, Name and Title of Signer and Date Signed;
Please bid only on those items specified (Do not change the items description - No substitutions).
Do not use phrases such as Minimum Award Amount or All or None or any other that would limit the Government from awarding by line item. You are responsible for providing the correct price to match the unit of measurement.
The contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price. The Government Reserves the Right to award Item by
Item, by Group of Items in the Aggregate, All or None, whichever is the most advantageous to the Government. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered equally. The solicitation will be available and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/.
Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
The Government reserves the right to make payment using either Electronic Funds Transfer
(EFT) or the Government Purchase Card. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications
(ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The point of contact for all information regarding this solicitation is Mr John Ray.
