QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
No. Vendor Question Government Response 1 How many pounds of RCRA waste, non RCRA waste and narcotic waste you estimate annually?
Based on our scope of work, we are seeking the removal of regulated medical (red bag and sharps containers) waste. We average 3,800 lbs per month X 12 = 45,600 lbs annually.

RCRA would be any drugs that are hazardous to the environment as classified by NIOSH, and non-RCRA would be everything else, for example, Warfarin is a RCRA hazardous drug and Tylenol is a non- RCRA drug.
Is it to be stated that there are only narcotics?
No, there will be RCRA, Non-RCRA, and narcotics.
We estimate 60% of our pharmaceutical waste stream to be
