Question 1. 1. Can a Sole Proprietor with no employees be acceptable for this solicitation.
Answer 1: This solicitation is only for “FBI Approved Channeler” vendors. Only vendors on the FBI Channeler list will be considered.
Question 2. Is the contractor responsible for having a physical location to perform fingerprint impressions or can the contractor meet with applicants at their locations (Library or work location)?
Answer 2: Refer to solicitation RFP‐CNS‐ARC‐23‐0103v2 page 13, section 1.4.1.2 Channeling Activity Tasks, a.) Task 1: Nationwide Fingerprint Collection for additional details.
Question 3: Presently, I conduct Fingerprint impressions approximately 40 times a year for the past 9 years. Is there a way to become an approved FBI Channeler prior to submitting the bid?
Answer 3: Processes for becoming FBI authorized/certified and all guidance pertaining to the certification is at the purview of the FBI and all inquiries related to this process should be addressed with them. Proposals will not be accepted from vendors that are not on the Approved FBI Channeler
List.
