About this file

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) 25-074 for Demolition Services issued by Ottawa County. The RFP solicits proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive demolition services, with vendors required to submit detailed responses addressing their experience, qualifications, past projects, project approach, and proposed costs. The proposal requires vendors to provide three professional references from similar governmental or community-based projects, and complete a multi-page response covering team composition, project management, technical procedures, equipment details, and a comprehensive itemized pricing proposal that includes costs for mobilization, utility maintenance, hazardous waste removal, demolition, site restoration, and demobilization.

The RFP includes specific requirements for proposal submission, such as a cover sheet that must be signed by an authorized representative, certifications regarding business practices (including non-involvement with sanctioned entities), and agreement to the county's terms and conditions. Vendors must provide a detailed narrative response addressing five key areas: team experience and qualifications, past relevant projects, project approach and methodology, itemized cost proposal, and any additional value-adding information. Insurance certificates are not required at submission but must be provided if awarded the contract, and proposals must remain valid for 120 days from the date of signature.
