The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI. Your response will be treated as information only.

Is there an estimated value range for this requirement?
The Government is conducting market research for technical support services to develop, deploy and transition financial data in all phases of its Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) project.

Is there a projected date for the release of a pre-solicitation notice or an RFP?
If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the General Services Administration Advantage E-Buy (e-buy) website. Responders are responsible for monitoring www.ebuy.gsa.gov for additional updates and solicitation, if released.
5.
May we, at your convenience, have an opportunity to briefly discuss our capability statement with you?

The RFI states that the contractor’s personnel will be required to “Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain client server applications over distributed networks and related protocols”. Are these client server applications referring to the IMS and the MetaStorm BPM product suite or other applications? If it is other applications, please provide additional information regarding the programming languages, databases, and technical infrastructure the contractor will need to support.
The client/server applications refer to components of the Invoice Management System (IMS) process hosted on the Enterprise Process Automation System (EPAS) platform. The applications utilized by IMS are Metastorm BPM, Metastorm Integration Manager (MIM), Business Objects Enterprise and Crystal Reports. The EPAS databases are hosted on Oracle.

What is the anticipated period of performance and the expected contract start date?

Please clarify if the FBI requires a company to provide a narrative to describe its core competencies or does the FBI just require a company to confirm it registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) under the NAICS codes specified by the FBI along with a listing of the company’s PCS relevant to the RFI.
