THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY.
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and market research planning purposes;
it does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation. Furthermore, those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback with regards to its submission. This RFI does not commit the
Government to contract for any supply or service. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is not seeking proposals at this time.
Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay any costs incurred in response to this RFI.
All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation.
The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. Response to this RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website. Responses to this RFI are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to response to this RFI.
REQUESTED INFORMATION
(1) STATEMENT OF CAPABILITY:
Submit a brief description, six (6) pages or less, that demonstrates how your company has the capabilities to provide Forklifts with the specifications listed below.
The 5,000lb. lifting capacity electric Forklifts, at a minimum, should meet the following specifications:

(2) POTENTIAL NAICS CODE AND BUSINESS SIZE AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS:
a. Indicate whether your business is large or small under an applicable NAICs code 333924
b. Indicate if your company is a manufacture or non-manufacture
c. Indicate if the forklifts are serviceable on-island in in the United States Territories of Puerto Rico
d. If small, indicate if your firm qualifies as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business
e. If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under
Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act
f. Indicate if your firm is a certified Hub-zone firm
g. Indicate if your firm is a woman-owned or operated business
h. Indicate if your firm is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or
Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB)
i. Include the SAM UEI number of your firm.
j. State whether your firm is registered www.sam.gov. If not, please NOTE that any future solicitation could only be awarded to a contractor who is registered in www.SAM.gov and to receive award based on VOSB or SDVOSB status you must be registered in the VetBiz Registry.
The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become the property of the Federal Government, and will not be returned.
SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be made electronically in Adobe Portable Documents Format (PDF), are due no later than 04:00 pm EST on Monday, 25 July 2022 and via e-mail only to Kimberly.Coakley@fema.dhs.gov.
Emails greater than 5MB need to be broken up in multiple emails of 5MB or less. Please place "Attention:
70FB7022I00000019 and your company name in the subject line of your email. Please limit responses to no more than six (6) pages and the font to no smaller than 10. Please be advised that all submissions / responses become Government property and will not be returned.
Proprietary information should be kept to the minimum and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the
Government, please segregate proprietary information.
Also, please include additional information that would be of value to the government--please mark as
"additional information."
