About this file

The document is a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the City of Ukiah, California, soliciting bids for 1,100-1,200 100% polyester mesh reversible basketball jerseys. The jerseys are to be two-sided (red and white) with a logo on the front, team name, and player number on the back. The initial order is expected to be placed between November 10-14, 2025, with a firm delivery deadline of December 1, 2025. Bids will be received until 5:00 p.m. on October 24, 2025, at the Purchasing Manager's office located at 411 W Clay St. in Ukiah. The bid requires sizes for both youth and adult categories, with specific screening and packaging requirements.

The RFB includes a local vendor preference policy, allowing Mendocino County-based businesses a 5% bid advantage (up to $2,500) if they meet specific criteria. Bidders must provide pricing for initial and small re-order quantities, with payment terms set at Net 30 upon complete delivery. The document outlines additional terms, including the city's rights to reject bids, accept separate items, and hold bidders liable for increased costs in case of default. The bid requires detailed specifications for logo placement, screen printing, and jersey customization, with screens for the front of jerseys to be maintained for the duration of the season (3 months) and sponsorship screens kept for 2 weeks into the season.
