Mobile Marksmanship Training Simulator Requirements:

24 July 2020 Hardware Capabilities (Simulator):

• Capable of operating within a 14’ x 17’ x 7’6”; room or area using a 14’ wide screen

• Capable of tracking in rooms with direct overhead lighting

• All components can be transported within TSA regulations

• All components are packed within ruggedized rolling cases

• Simulator includes a ruggedized shock-mounted case that meets MIL-STD 810G

• Integrated dual console

• Integrated instructor station with wireless touchpad keyboard

• Capable of upgrading to a live-fire configuration

• Integrated sound system

• Can be set up by a single trained operator in ~15 minutes

Software Capabilities:

• Satisfies AFMAN 36-2655

• Capable of simulating Call for Fire (CFF) training

• Includes AFQC Handgun (Air Force Qualification Course)

• Includes Air Force OSI qualification

• Includes wide range of training scenario library

• Includes judgmental scenarios with full escalation through the use-of-force continuum

• Includes VBS3 Tactical Weapons Simulator

• Includes Reflexive Fire Drills

• Includes Grouping, Zeroing, and Battle Sight Zeroing Instruction with realistic simulated weapon sights adjustment

• Includes Known Distance (KD) Range with practice up to 500m

• Includes Course of Fire with editor for custom courses

• Includes 30 Practical Shooting Advanced Marksmanship Courses

• Includes Steel Challenge Marksmanship Competition Courses

• Includes lateral Thinking Drills

• Includes Speed Drills

• Includes Charging Drills

• Includes Moving Target Drills

• Includes Transitional Drills o Includes basic pistol fundamentals instruction

• Actual Target Sizing Ratio

• Includes 300M popup range for practice rifle qualification

• Includes 25M ALT-C range for practice rifle qualification

• Produces Printable Scorecards

• Allows direct fire engagement of targets out to 1500 meters

• Can be networked with other VBS3 platforms

Simulated Weapon Capabilities:

• Upgradable for simulation of issued magnified optics (M150 RCO, M68 CCO, MK4 10x40, PAS-13D, M22)

• Simulated thermal optics feature realistic white-hot / black-hot capability with realistic functional button control inputs

• Includes simulated optical devices with embedded micro display capable of displaying all common US Military reticles

• Optic device tracked with a laser-based system (no IMU required)

• Optic device with physical sensored windage, elevation, and zoom controls

• Includes tetherless weapons in standard package

• Tetherless weapons use a barrel reservoir system for pneumatic recoil capable of firing a full combat load (ex:

M4 – 7 magazines / 210 rounds) without refilling

• Capable of adding simulated crew-served weapons: M240, M249, MK19, or M2

• Simulated small arms weapons do NOT require air compressor to function

• Tetherless weapons do not require additional accessories to be mounted on weapon to operate that would not normally be found on actual weapon

• Weapons capable of working away from simulator operating system and maintain recoil action and electro-mechanical round count

• Electro-mechanical round count magazines on small arm tetherless models

• Requires magazine be removed completely for reload procedure

• Compatible with dry-fire laser inserts

Additionally, system shall be complete with the items listed below.

Custom Mobile Marksmanship Trainer:

1 – Multi Series Laser Detection Camera 2 – LS Mini Gaming Computer 2 – Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 1 – Short Throw Video Projector 1 – Surround Sound Speaker System 1 – 23” Monitor 1 – Screen (at least 94”x168w), Edgeless 1 – Ruggedized Shockmount Case 1 – Accessory Case, 1650 1 – JTS Remote Viewer 1 – Software, JTS Player w/Season I & II Scenarios

Minimum Scenarios:

1 – Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction 1 – Skill Drill I & II 1 – Course of Fire 1 – KD Range 1 – Practical Shooting (ALPHA-DELTA) Software 1 – Steel Challenge 1 – 1770 Pelican Case w/Custom Foam Inserts

The following Weapons Accessories are required to accompany the system:

1 – MMT Flashlight Training System 2– M18 Simulated Recoil Weapons 4 – Spare Magazines (M18) 2 – M4 Dryfire Trainer, IR 2 – CO2 Refill Station
