REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

378 ECONS PRINCE SULTAN AIR BASE, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

CONTAINERIZED HOUSING UNIT (CHU) FURNITURE

1.0 Description

1.1 The Government is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide the Haivision System to PSAB (Prince Sultan Air Base), KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

1.2 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.

1.3 Classifications

2.0 Background

2.1 Requirement Description: This purchase will provide all equipment, hardware, and support as a complete system to provide AFN capabilities base wide without the need for individual satellite purchases or additional non-compatible server equipment that requires yearly license fees. All equipment, hardware, and support shall be delivered to Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB), KSA.

2.2 The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, personnel, and equipment necessary to deliver new furniture/equipment, install the furniture/equipment, remove produced trash, and any clean up efforts needed.

3.0 Responses

3.1 Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI via email.

3.2 Reponses are due are due no later than 24 March 2023, 2000 Central Standard Time.

Responses shall be limited to 3 pages and submitted via e-mail only to Eric.mitchell@psab.afcent.af.mil. Notice of receipt of email will not be given, it is recommended vendors turn on read receipts.

3.3. The submission shall provide administrative information, and shall include the following as a minimum:

3.3.1. Name, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail of designated point of contact.

4.0 Additional Contractor Responsibilities

4.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, permits, visas, registrations etc. required to perform this contract and for complying with any laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of work for the Government and the host nation.

4.2 If an award is made, the vendor will be required to comply with base access requirements for both the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and the United States Air Force (USAF) to include producing the following forms: iqamas, passports, mandoob information, and other vetting documents.

4.3 All companies must be registered in the System for Award Management at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ to be considered for award. The Government will not provide contract financing for this acquisition. Invoice instruction shall be provided at time of award.

5.0 Summary

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY to identify sources that can provide commercial dedicated internet access. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The government has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
