Text version

The requested material or service represents the minimum requirements of the government.

CHECK & FILL IN ALL APPLICABLE BLANKS BELOW

The material/service must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed/performing. Describe the equipment/function you have now and how the new item/service must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system.

A patent, copyright or proprietary data limits competition. The proprietary data is:

These are “direct replacements” parts/components for existing equipment.

Other information to support a brand name buy:

The required parts must conform to the OEM existing parts for the currently installed SSDG Caterpillar Model 3608. OEM parts will ensure maximum safety, performance, and integrity of the current SSDG.

The work items specify the replacement parts by these numbers and do not specify "or equal" as acceptable.

Caterpillar Defense has several authorized distributors throughout the United States. As the OEM, Caterpillar Defense has provided quotes in response to the same solicitation as their distributors for historical procurement made for this material by MARMC. This practice has allowed for maximum competition amongst the OEM and distributors which has resulted in the best value for the Government for price.
