This component requires inspection and acceptance at source and meets the following criteria in accordance with AFMCI 20-102.
Quality Assurance Letter of Instruction (QALI):
-Significant Technical Requirements to ensure configuration baseline -Critical production features to ensure safety of flight aspects of this component -Contract is awarded to manufacturer of this item
Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) will provide the necessary technical and administrative oversight to ensure the requirements of section 8 and the Technical Data Package (TDP) provided by the contract are complied with as directed by the 'Landing Gear QALI letter' for CSI and CAI inspection requirements.
AS 9100 is listed as required, but equivalent is acceptable.
The manufacturer of this item is believed not to require Ozone-Depleting Substances (ODS), reference selection below. However, contract clause 52.223-11 will be added to solicitations in the event that ODS usage occurs.

"I HAVE REVIEWED THE REQUIREMENT, INCLUDING AVAILABLE TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION, AND BELIEVE THAT IT DOES NOT REQUIRE THE CONTRACTOR USE CLASS I OZONE DEPLETING SUBSTANCES (ODS) IDENTIFIED IN AIR FORCE POLICY, NOR IS IT WRITTEN SO THAT IT CAN
ONLY BE MET BY THE USE OF A CLASS I ODS."
