PURCHASE DESCRIPTION
FOR
Pressure Controller for PG7601
1.0 Scope This procurement is for a pressure controller to replace the Fluke PPC3 in the Fluke PG7601- AF system. This pressure controller will control pressure over a range of 1-1000 psi (the equivalent range of the PG7601). It will be able to hold a set-point stable while the PG7601 piston reaches a floating state. The PPC3 units were originally procured under contract FY2333-05-C-0001 in 2005, when 75 PG7601-SYS-AF systems were delivered to the field.
2.0 Functional Requirements
2.1. The contractor shall deliver the following pressure controller configuration:
2.1.1. P/N: 6270A-NPT. Description: Modular Pressure Controller Chassis, NPT Manifold
2.1.2. P/N: PCM-STD-20M. Description: Pressure Control Module, Standard Turndown
2.1.3. P/N: PM200-A100K. Description: Pressure Measurement Module, 0 - 15 PSI ABSOLUTE
2.1.4. P/N: PM500-BG2M. Description: Pressure Measurement Module, -15 - 300 PSI GAUGE
2.1.5. P/N: PM200-G10M. Description: Pressure Measurement Module, 0 - 1500 PSI GAUGE
2.1.6. P/N: As available. Description: RS-232 Null Modem Cable, 6 foot.
2.2. Compatibility: The pressure controller configuration shall be compatible with the current PG7601-SYS-AF system. 1 copy of the updated software/firmware needs to be provided to
AFMETCAL.
2.3. Functionality: The new pressure controller shall maintain the same metrological and stability capability as the current PPC3.
3.0 Physical/Mechanical Requirements
3.1. Dimensions: The pressure controller shall not exceed the following dimensions.
3.1.1 Height: 6 in
3.1.2 Width: 18 in
3.1.3 Depth: 20 in
3.2. Pressure Controller shall have a brass muffler/filter accessory that threads into the exhaust port.
The brass muffler/filter accessory shall be able to be removed from the exhaust port if necessary.
4.0 Warranty: Pressure controller provided shall include a standard 1 year warranty.
5.0 Environment, Safety, And Operational Health: A combination of the system manual, other documentation, and/or the system itself shall identify potential environment, safety, and operational health hazards and how they are mitigated when the design itself cannot mitigate them. This will be accomplished through stating the hazard and accompanying mitigation through the use of safety devices, use of warnings, or use of special operational procedures to counter such hazards.
6.0 Testing: The pressure controller shall be inspected and accepted at a destination specified elsewhere in this contract. The item will be checked with test equipment and parameters equal to or better than those required assuring specified performance requirements are met. Test equipment has first echelon certification directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or other AFMETCAL approved sources where required. Tests will be performed to assure the item meets or exceeds all of the requirements of this purchase description. Such testing does not relieve the

Rev 2 contractor of performing all inspections and quality control checks at the point of fabrication as necessary to assure performance as specified.

DATA REQUIREMENTS
MANUALS: A complete user and service manual and calibration procedure shall be provided with each unit in contractor format. Manuals shall be on CD/DVD-ROM in Indexed Portable Document Format (iPDF). The manuals shall comply with Data Item Description (DID) DI-TMSS-80527C and the Contract Data Requirements List (DD Form 1423).
