Pre-Solicitation Notice: The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region, NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation for a Request for Quotes (RFQ) firm fixed price contract for Landscaping Services for Sherman Park, located within the secured White House (WHHO) President’s Park.
Solicitation Number: 140P6323Q0034
Project Location: Sherman Park, Washington DC
Project Description: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal, disposal, and replacement of designated shrubbery, install mulch covering, and pruning of existing hedges at the designated areas.
Equipment limitation: large size and heavy trucks will not be able to access the site due to width and weight limitation.
Screening/inspection is required to enter the work area. Contractors will be required to provide personnel information at least 72 hours prior to a scheduled site-visit and have a Government issued photo ID when entering a secured location.
Period of Performance: May 22, 2023 – December 31, 2023 The associated NAICS code is 561730 Landscaping Service. The small business size standard is $9.5 Million.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Businesses registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) must update their SAM registration in order to have their small business status updated based on the new size standards effective March 17, 2023. Until the SAM registration is updated, the SAM profiles will continue to display the small business status under the old size standards.
Notice of Set Aside: This acquisition is set-aside for Total Small Business
The RFQ package, including applicable statement of work, will be posted to http://www.sam.gov/. No hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation will be provided. Offerors must have a UEI number and be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
The official solicitation package and its attachments will be available on or about April 26, 2023 and will be posted to http://www.sam.gov/. Responses will be due approximately 20 days after RFQ issue date. The specific date and time will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice. No hard copies or email copies will not be provided. All offerors must be registered and active in the SAM to provide a competitive quote.
