About this file
This is a pre-solicitation notice for the ACES Seat Sequencer Phase III program issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command. The notice announces a sole-source award to Rockwell Collins, Inc. (CAGE: 13499) with an estimated award date of September 2025. The requirement is not set-aside for small businesses.
The work involves continuation of Phase 2 and progression into qualification testing for the ACES Seat Sequencer. Activities include development close-out with Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Phase 3 hardware procurement, Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) testing, and System Integration Qualification Sled Testing. The solicitation is expected to be posted on SAM.gov by April 2025. While this is a sole-source procurement, other responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration. Small businesses interested in subcontracting opportunities are encouraged to contact Rockwell Collins directly. A qualification package is required for non-qualified contractors, though the award will not be delayed for qualification submissions.
