About this file

The document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for vertical axial flow pumps. The solicitation seeks to procure four pumps with specific technical specifications: two 2240 GPM pumps, one 3369 GPM pump, and one 1250 GPM pump, all designed for high-flow, low-head applications with 12 ft total dynamic head. The pumps are single-stage models featuring product-lubed open line shafts, 316 or 416 stainless steel line shafts, aluminum bronze wear rings, and line shaft bearings. Motors range from 10HP to 20HP, powered by 460V, 60Hz, 3-phase electricity. The quotation is due by April 3rd, 2025 at 12 PM PST, with a required delivery date of June 30th, 2025, to be delivered to 6420 Carpenter Road SE in Lacey, Washington.

The RFQ includes provisions for small businesses and veteran-owned businesses, with a preference for awarding to these categories if they submit the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The document notes compliance with the Build America Buy America Act, which requires that iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials be produced in the United States. There is also an emphasis on avoiding products containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and requesting packaging without color or dyes. Vendors must be registered in the Statewide Vendor Payment System and will be paid upon satisfactory delivery and acceptance of goods. The solicitation allows for potential future purchase orders under the same terms within one year of the award, with Washington State sales tax to be added to the final billing invoice.
