About this file

This statement of work outlines a module wall system procurement for temporary office space at a Department of Veterans Affairs medical center. The scope requires the vendor to provide and install a modular wall system in three leased office containers to accommodate staff during damaged floor reconstruction. The vendor must supply specific StarC modular wall components, layout details, and installation services to properly outfit the containers according to planning needs. Performance requirements mandate scheduling work during normal hours approved by the center, including all travel costs in pricing, following applicable Davis-Bacon wage determinations, and coordinating access with facility services. STATEMENT OF WORK

Module Wall System

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Facilities Service is in need for supplemental office space. The Medical Center has incurred significant damage to an area encompassing the bulk of three floors, due to a flood caused by a broken water pipe. This occurred during the latter part of the COVID pandemic – due to a reduction of in-person Patient appointments at the time, several Clinical use spaces were converted to office use due to the emergent conditions. Now that the pandemic is ended, VAMC Manchester needs to make more Clinical space available to see Patients. As such, we will need to lease an as-yet-determined number of office containers/trailers to accommodate in-person Staff requirements, while the damaged floors are under construction. These supplemental accommodations will be durable and climate-controlled, designed to withstand the sometimes-harsh New England weather. To begin, we will attempt to lease three containers & furnish electrical & data services. The vendor shall provide product and installation of a module wall system for the needed containers.
