Questions and Answers- NSFDACS17Q1071

1) Are both solicitation responses (NSFDACS17Q1070, NSFDACS17Q1071) due April 24th? Will there be an extension?

An extension was granted. The new response date and time is 3 PM April 25, 2017.

2) Are there 2 solicitations because you need 2 solutions?

Yes these are two separate requirements.

3) Does NSF want the budgetary pricing in the embedded table?

The format that contractor uses to respond to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is a business decision that is entirely up to them.

4) Why were CLINS not provided? The document says CLINS are as followed…

This refers the line items and line item numbers that were provided in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation.

5) Does NSF require a dialer or softphone?

We require a softphone, or some solution to allow us to access our phone lines while out of office.

6) Is it ok to have the fax line via an analog port on the router?

Yes this is ok.

7) Will NSF have a firewall that is VOIP enabled to allow traffic to go through?

NNCO does not currently have a firewall.

8) Is this address correct?

Yes, this requirement relates to NNCO’s move which is separate from NSF’s move to Alexandria, VA.

9) Are options being requested with this requirement?

Yes, a base plus three option periods are being requested with this requirement.

10) Is a site visit currently planned?

At this point in time we currently are not planning to conduct a site visit.
