Notice of Intent to Sole Source
NovaSeq Reagent Kits
FDA_SS_1243339
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a Sole Source firm-fixed price purchase order to Illumine Inc, 5200 Illumina Way, San Diego, CA 92122-4616. In accordance with FAR part 6.302-1, the contractor is the only responsible source who can provide the required services as no other source has been identified who can provide the on-site parking services to satisfy the agencies requirements.
The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the FDA anticipates issuing an award to procure the below NovaSeq Reagent Kits.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541715: Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
AA.. Shall provide seven (7) NovaSeq 6000 SP Reagent Kit v1.5 (200 cycles).
BB.. Shall provide eight (8) NovaSeq 6000 S4 Reagent Kit v1.5 (300 cycles) CC.. Shall provide on (1) IDT® for Illumina® DNA/RNA UD Indexes Set A, Tagmentation (96 Indexes, 96
Samples) - IDT for Illumina- Nextera UD Indexes- SetA contains 96, 10 bp unique indexes sufficient for 96 samples. Library prep, enrichment, and enrichment probe panel reagents need to be ordered separately.
DD.. Shall provide eight (8) PhiX Control v3 Kitted DNA control for the Illumina sequencing platform.
Compatible with Single and Paired End reads up to 150 base pairs. (10ul of 10nM template solution)
EE.. Shall provide two (2) Illumina® DNA Prep, (M) Tagmentation (24 Samples).
FF.. Shall include shipping and handling at no additional cost to the government.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it can meet this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement.
Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
It is anticipated that an award will be issued to Illumina Inc., within approximately ten (10) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capability to meet this requirement.
