Notice # FA500022Q0016
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:
The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a sole source purchase order to HVF Precious Metals LLC to support the US Air Force’s requirements for Special Access Program (SAP) IT Destruction and Sanitization Services in accordance with the Pacific Air Force SAP IT Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures dated 11 June 2021. HPV Precious Metals LLC, is the only approved site for incineration services and other waste disposal services for the PACAF SAP program. These specific services are required in support of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) Alaska, under PACAF command.
This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 4 February 2022. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 05 July 2021 at 11:00 am AKDT.
A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
