Title: GPS MULTI-SIGNAL SIMULATOR

Description The NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) has a requirement to procure a GPS Multi-Signal Simulator for Endo- and Exo-Atmospheric applications, Qty 1 Each. The GPS Simulator tool will be used to verify predicted GPS and IMU/GPS integrated performance in both ascent (endo‐) and in‐space (exo‐atmospheric) environments for proposed SLS trajectories. This system will be used for verification and testing of GPS coverage and link analysis for the Exploration Upper Stage during in‐space operations, both during its Trans‐Lunar Injection and Disposal maneuvers. This will enable testing with GPS receiver‐in‐the‐loop to verify the capability of integration algorithms and navigation filters to provide best capability state estimates during flight from Low Earth Orbit through Medium/High Earth Orbit and beyond. As such, this unit will be needed to model multiple antennas onboard a single spacecraft to capture detailed analysis of antenna placements and coverage, while simulating the inertial attitude of the vehicle. This unit will be used to verify navigation filtering performance, and GPS error simulation developed in a high‐fidelity 6DOF simulation tool for program requirements development and analysis, particularly focused on vehicle GNC algorithms and capability. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to IFEN, Inc., 1449 Potomac Drive, Corona, CA 92882 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that IFEN, Inc. is the sole provider of a GPS Multi-Signal Simulator for Endo- and Exo-Atmospheric applications. Delivery of the GPS Multi-Signal Simulator shall occur within 30 days of the order receipt date.
