1. On the hand pump side of this dual hydraulic system, we see the required pressure is up to 5,000psi, please advise us as to the flow requirement for that circuit.

a. Two stage hand pump, low pressure stage 0-500 psi and 500-5000 psi high pressure stage. Pump automatically changes stage internally based on system pressure. Low pressure stage: Piston diameter: 1 ½ in; Working pressure: 0-500 psi; Displacement/Stroke: 2.1 ; Force/100 psi 12.0 lbs/100 psi; High pressure stage: Piston diameter: 5/8 in; Working pressure: 500-5000 psi; Displacement/Stroke: 0.4; Force/100 psi 2.2 lbs/100 psi; Pressure relief setting: 5,250 psi

2. Please confirm that: Fluid pressure min: 22 gpm @ 3000 psi from SpecSheet_20160616141439.771_X , is for total flow, that is: 11 GPM per system.

a. Minimum 22 gpm @3000 psi for each system. If both are in operation, each needs to provide a minimum of 22gpm @3000 psi

3. What are the materials of construction for the main frame and metal components, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminum or other?

a. Any metal suitable for the weight and skydrol characteristics may be used

4. Is there an existing piece of equipment that this is replacing? If yes, what is that model and manufacturer of that piece?

a. No, this is a new item

5. What is the required capacity of the hydraulic oil reservoir?

a. The hydraulic oil reservoir minimum capacity shall be 70 gallon stainless steel reservoir

6. Should the unit be explosion proof for hazardous locations?

a. No, that is not a requirement

7. Is it a site trailer, or highway trailer?

a. Site trailer but for towing safety around aircraft: requires max dimensions width 64”w x 78”l x 59”h, rough max weight 4000#, Pintle ring

8. Should the flow be adjustable?

a. Yes

9. Should there be a flowmeter?

a. Yes

10. What is the reservoir size?

a. See answer 5 above

11. What kind of hydraulic valves/controls are needed?

a. PRESSURE/RETURN SYSTEM RELIEF VALVES/BALL VALVES

12. You specify dual hydraulic system, do you need (2) pumps & motors or (2) pumps driven by (1) motor?

a. 2 PUMPS ONE MOTOR

13. For the directional control valve, will it be manually operated or solenoid operated. If solenoid operated, what supply voltage will be required?

a. Manually operated

14. Can you describe the characteristics desired for the "dual hydraulic system" spec?

a. Electric motor with minimum 50 ft power cord
