Purchase of Camper Trailer New Mexico Ecological Services Field Office

Objective:

The primary objective of this contract is to provide a camper trailer for field operations. The trailer needs to be set up for either remote camping or compatible with hook ups at camping facilities. The trailer needs to have a refrigerator that operates with propane or electric, gas stoves, gas heat, and solar for power of AC and when work is conducted in the field (charging phones, computers work, etc.).

Background:

The Mexican Wolf Recovery Program (MWRP) has been utilizing camper trailers since the beginning of the program in 1998. The camper trailers are used for extended periods of time in the field. For instance, a standard trap line for a pack of wolves last 10 days with two people in a remote location. We also routinely haze wolves away from livestock which requires personnel to be in the area of depredations in the late evening and early morning hours when wolves are hunting.

These efforts require rotating crews in an area for weeks to months.

Scope of Work:

We need to purchase one trailer no greater than 30 feet in length that can be towed into remote areas of New Mexico and Arizona.

Provide one (1) camper trailer with a refrigerator that operates with propane or electric, gas stoves, gas heat, and solar for power of AC and when work is conducted in the field (charging phones, computers work, etc.).

Optional: Installed solar panels to generate electricity for remote location camping. (price separately)

FOB Destination:

The camper trailer needs to be delivered to New Mexico Ecological Services Field Office located at 2105 Osuna Road NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87113. The camper needs to be fully assembled and ready for use upon delivery.
