Note that the monthly estimates provided below are provided for costing purposes and to give offerors an idea of the type and frequency of services needed during each 9-month period of the contract. The actual number and mix of services will vary depending upon the needs of the government.
Offerors shall use the following monthly estimates to derive costs as follows:
A. Provide a fixed unit price (using fully loaded rates) for each of the 5 (five) sequencing services listed below.
Sequencing Services Estimated monthly use
Fixed unit price at fully loaded rates
Sequence reactions (Plasmid DNA, PCR Amplicon)
7,500/month $
PCR Amplicon generation 500/month $ PCR Amplicon purification 600/month $ DNA Normalization 100/month $ Assay Development 1/month $
B. Provide a not to exceed (NTE) amount for each 9-month period of performance of the contract
(identified as CLINS 1-4). The NTE amount for each period of performance should be derived by taking into account the estimated number of fixed unit prices for the sequencing services above.
CLIN Period of Performance Not to Exceed
Amount 1 Base - September 27, 2016 – June 26, 2017 $
2 Option Period 2 - June 27, 2017 – March 26, 2018 $

Attachment 2 months beyond year three (3) of the contract. Please also provide a separate cost spreadsheet for this 6-month extension using the same rates in existence for Option Period 4.
Option A: 1 additional Block of Sequencing Services, NTE $50,000 In the event that additional services are needed beyond the established ceilings, the Government intends to include “Option A” to acquire additional services. Each exercise of Option A shall provide 1 additional block of Sequencing Services at the fixed unit prices negotiated and accepted. The mix and number of Sequencing Services in each block will vary, but shall not exceed a total cost of $50,000.
Option A shall be exercisable up to 10 times during the total period of performance of the contract. This option will not extend the period of performance of the contract.
