Inflatable Boat ~15ft
RFQ # NF-FT7000-23-02535
Q&A
Amendment #01 – 7/10/2023
1: Is this for 1 boat or for 2 boats?
Answer: The base period is for one boat and the option period is for a potential 2nd boat
2: Under Tech Specs: 1. C. ii: states: Roll up deck must include forward hard deck assembly (forward of thrustboard). Can you please elaborate on this? When I asked Milpro they stated that there is no Bow Board on the Rollup Deck.
Answer: On some of PIFSC’s inflatables, forward of the thrustboard, there is only a soft cover made of fabric. We are looking for hard flooring that will go in front of the thrustboard to be included with this purchase.
3: Honda BF30DK3. Is this a Long Shaft outboard? Gas Assist or Power Tilt?
Answer: The engine model is Honda BF30Dk3 - LHTA with power tilt.
4: Under Spare / Repair Parts for Hard Deck / Floorboard, Installation Tools: The request is for a Rollup Deck. Not sure what tools would be needed to install a rollup deck. Adjustable Flange Nut wrench?
What is this?
Answer: This is listed to ensure we receive all necessary tools to install the floorboard. If there are no tools necessary to install the floorboards, then this does not need to be included.
The adjustable flange wrench would be used to stabilize the inside of the inflate/deflate valves if they need to be replaced, to avoid losing the inside portion of the valve inside the sponson during the repair. It will need to be large enough to fit around the inflate/deflate valves.
