Technical specification for Optical frequency comb with visible output purchase for NIST-ADI (6/19)
One (1) EACH optical frequency comb with the following specifications:
· Er:doped fiber polarization maintaining oscillator engineered for metrology applications
· Includes laser head and control unit
· Repetition rate 250 MHz
· Center wavelength 1560 nm +/20 nm
· Spectral bandwidth of output >25 nm
· Six PM (polarization maintaining) fiber coupled output ports, linearly polarized; each port with average output power >12 mW, LC/APC connectors
· All six outputs can be turned into high power ports by adding EDFA amplifiers.
· Monitor port, FC/APC connector
· Integrated stepper motor for tuning of cavity length by >4 MHz
· Piezo actuator for repetition rate synchronization
· Control of CEO frequency through intracavity actuator by >250 MHz and pump power modulation for fine control and stabilization
· Actuators for high bandwidth intracavity feedback for the repetition rate and CEO frequency with typical control bandwidth of 1 MHz
· RF input (4) for fast/slow stabilization of repetition rate and fCEO
· fCEO stabilization optics including oscillator amplifier, non-linear fiber for spectral broadening, f-2f interferometer, fCEO phase detection and phase lock loop for stabilization
· Optics for visible spectrum extension including oscillator amplifier, frequency double and non-linear fiber for spectral broadening at ~800 nm
