Amendment 4
Please advise what kind of identification is required for staff to get access to the facility? A state-issued driver’s license or identification card from states that are compliant with the REAL ID Act. NIST currently accepts other forms of federally issued identification in lieu of a state-issued driver's license, including an original passport, passport card, DOD Common Access Card (CAC), Veteran ID, Federal Agency HSPD-12 IDs, Military Dependent ID, Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC), and TSA Trusted Traveler ID.
Any background checks needed prior to facility access? No -the contractor will be issued a Visitor Badge and will be escorted by a NIST employee at all times unless working in an area defined as "public" by the NIST Physical Security Officer. Since the individual will be escorted in all sensitive areas, no background investigation, NACI or SAC, will be required
For each non-U.S. citizen visiting the NIST campus, the form NIST-1260 must be fully completed and submitted.
0. The information submitted will be used to conduct a routine background check of that individual, which must be completed before they can enter the NIST campus.
The SAM registration has been submitted but TIN and CAGE code are pending. We are anticipating our TIN and CAGE codes within 10-15 business days. Please advise if clause 52.204-7 will apply? Yes FAR Clause 52.204-7 applies
The due date for responses remains unchanged.
