About this file
This document outlines requirements for a 5-axis gyro-stabilized gimbal camera system. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Kennedy Space Center requires delivery of a 5-axis gyro-stabilized gimbal camera system by October 31, 2021 that can control a single payload from at least 20 feet away using full pan, tilt, zoom and focus controls. The system must be able to operate in temperatures from 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, withstand water and moisture, operate up to 35,000 feet, and integrate specified camera hardware including a mid-wave infrared camera with 45-900mm lens. The intended sole source award is to Gyro-Stabilized Systems, LLC. for a Cinema Pro+ 520 Platform meeting these requirements.
