About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a Fluorimeter System by the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA. The amendment changes the procurement from a sole source to a full and open competition Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation outlines the system requirements, which include an excitation source, laser source, emission detector, monochromators, polarizers, capability for absolute quantum yield measurements, lifetime analysis, time-resolved emission spectra, and data processing software. The system must operate within a 200-900 nm wavelength range, have a sensitivity of S:N >10,000:1, and resolution of 0.5 nm. The solicitation also specifies requirements for the sample holder, installation, training, and computer system. The RFQ will be posted on the Contract Opportunities website on or around August 26, 2024, and all responsible sources may submit a quote.
