SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION A - SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM

The following have been added by full text:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question 1) Are there detailed technical specifications (minimum requirements) that describe what is required for the items detailed in the “scope of work” section of this solicitation?

Response: Detailed information for individual delivery order requirements will be provided at the issuance of each delivery order RFQ. The intention of the scope of work is to list the broad range of items that, at a minimum, can and will be procured over a five-year period.

Question 2) Will the government accept offer for items from different manufacturers that are equivalent to the requested items (Brand Name or Equal)?

Response: Yes, each RFQ will list a requested item or specification and will allow for equivalents to be proposed.

Question 3) If Brand Name or Equal is accepted, can the government specify what the minimum specifications/salient characteristics are that must be addressed?

Response: Minimum specifications of an alternate/equivalent must at least meet the specifications and salient characteristics of the items which are requested at the time of the RFQ.

For the initial order, the Government is seeking a 3D filament printer that meets or exceeds the following minimum specifications, equivalent to the Fusion3 Design F410 and its corresponding parts and products:

250 mm/sec print speeds Within .003” print tolerances As low as 20 microns layer resolution Extruder shall include filament monitoring and filament cleaning Prefer a motion control system which does not use rubber belts Platform stability to eliminate vibrations

Question 4) It is our understanding that product samples are not required with the submission of our response to this solicitation, is that correct?

Response: Product samples are not required. Please note, however, that the quotes on the initial orders should be realistic as those will be used to make individual Firm Fixed Price awards for the first order of each contract.

Question 5) Is there a Schedule of Materials list in the Solicitation?

Response: No, there is not a schedule of materials for this contract. A wide variety of items can and will be procured through this contract and listed in the RFQs for each delivery order. The “scope of work” section outlines, at a minimum, the types of items to be procured over a five-year period.
