Statement of Work Aerosol Jet Direct Write (DW) Printer 12/15/2015
1.0 Scope/Background
In order to meet emerging requirements of Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division – China Lake (NAWCWD) customers, the Applied Manufacturing Technology Division (AMTD) intends to procure an Optomec Aerosol Jet 200 (AJ200) Direct Write (DW) printing system. The Optomec Aerosol Jet Direct Write printer will provide NAWCWD with the capability to print both conductive and non-conductive inks and similar materials onto various substrates from a digital model via an Aerosol Jet, i.e. aerodynamic deposition, process. Applications for this technology include printed electronic circuits, antenna, sensors, etc. The requirement for the systems also includes printing system training and maintenance.
