INTRODUCTION/ BACKGROUND
This Statement of Work defines the effort required for the acquisition, transportation, storage and installation of a mobile Computed Tomography unit (CT), The current scanner will be replaced and the mobile CT scanner will be used while the de-installation/ installation projects conducted. During the CT scanner replacement, the mobile CT scanner will be utilized for 4 weeks between the time frame of August 1st to November 1st in coordination with Siemens, Mobile Scan Imaging, and other required individuals to accommodate an estimated time of de-installation/ installation of the current scanner.
The staff is trained on a Siemens 64 slice CT, training our staff to learn another system can result in exposure errors.
SCOPE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
We require a mobile 64 Slice CT machine with a contrast Injector, Olcom-3 settings, patient elevator lift and removable hard-drive which will be kept by us upon turning in CT trailer. We will require it for a 4 week time-frame between August 1st to November 1st; the exact timeframe will have to be coordinated with Project Manager (to be named at the time of award) to finalize mobilization and demobilization dates. The mobile CT trailer will be delivered and Installed at Naval Hospital Jacksonville at a location designated by the Project Manager and coordinated with the vendor. Lease of mobile CT scanner for 4 weeks will be during a period identified by NH Jacksonville between August 1st to November 1st .
Vendor shall provide with their quote a copy of Efilm for the purpose of connecting the mobile CT to PACS via a Windows 7 "proxy" box that is provided by the government. At completion of the use of the CT Trailer, the hard drive shall remain property of Naval Hospital Jacksonville.
The CT Trailer must be able to be accessed through the Navy PACS Worklist. The Basic set up will be CT machine-Windows 7-Efilm to PACS servers in order to meet mission requirements.
SECURITY REQUIRMENTS
Although the project is unclassified, the contractor's representative must be able to enroll in the base access program. The contractor shall assume all costs associated with ensuring its employees meet the minimum requirements to work and or deliver on a military base. The CT hard drives must be removed and will be retained by Naval Hospital Jacksonville.
