The following have been added by full text:

Answer: No, this is for equipment procurement only

4. Question: Is there a loading dock for delivery?

Answer: Yes

5. Question: If we’re responsible for install:

Answer: No you are not responsible for install.

o Is there room to store units on site? N/A o Are the units on the first floor? If not, is there an elevator available for use? N/A o Are there any obstacles between the loading dock/entry point & the UPS room(s)? (steps, ramps, narrow doors, etc.) N/A

9. Question: The solicitation indicates that the UPS units need to allow a "Radio Receiver and Radio Transmitter" site to run for a duration of 15 to 18 minutes.

I want to correctly size the units, but need to know the radio receiver and transmitter current draw? This would be the full load amperage draw when both the receiver and transmitter are in use.

Answer:

Receivers building 1892: 80% load = 7098.50VA + 30% (growth potential) = 9228.05VA

Transmitters building 1893: 80% load = 10937.60VA + 30% (growth potential) = 14218.80VA

Indoor or outdoor? Temperature? Dust?

Answer: No insulation is required. If unit type/model already has it, that will be acceptable.

Do you need exactly the same?

Answer: Customer will accept it being bolted to crate/pallet bottom for lifting with forklift.

12. Question: Ground kit? What is it? We have the grounding screw on the surface of the UPS and in connection terminals.

Answer: All grounds should be bonded to a horizontal ground bus bar to facilitate grounding/bonding of UPS to building ground ring.

13. When you do the lifting eyes, it is no more rackmount, it is tower.

Answer: Description of rackmount is same as stating “tower” UPS.
