Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to revise quantity, and extend the required response date to 28 October 2024 at 6:00 PM.

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A separate, written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b).

Request for Proposal (RFQ) number is N66604-25-Q-0051.

This action is being solicited on a Sole Source Basis to North Atlantic Industries. North Atlantic is the original and only manufacturer of the required part SIU6-EP30C355A-200B. North Atlantic is the only contractor that can provide obsolete parts and has materials on shelf to produce additional SBC cards. Using another manufacture for this requirement would result in the need for significant redesign and recertification which would impact cost and fleet schedule. Therefore, this requirement can only be met by north Atlantic.

The Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 334511 “Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing”, the Small-Business Size Standard is 1,350 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement in the future.
