Q1:The statement of work for this notice states, "This requirement is for industry baseline and OS certification training courses to provide the Government civilian CSWF practitioners with a means to achieve a certificate of completion, as outlined by the certifying authority, to document their mastery of the knowledge area. This certificate of completion provides the Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) to document the qualifications for CSWF baseline certification". Cyber World Institute issues a course completion certificate to all students who successfully complete a training course. CompTIA and ISC2 have vendor certification exams that independently document an individual's knowledge and skills. Is this requirement for a course completion certificate or are we to quote vendor certification exams?

Q1A: This requirement is for the course completion certificate only.

Q2: I did not see that Certifications Exams were a Requirement. Can you please confirm whether they need to be included in the quote.

Q2A: Certification exams are not required.

Q3: The attachments listed the course delivery modes (virtual and face-to-face) as options. Does this mean that if it is decided that Security+ for example is to be delivered virtually that all 3 classes will be delivered via this mode and that no Security+ class will be delivered face-to-face? Or is there a possibility for both modes of delivery of the same course? Example one instance delivered virtually and two instances delivered face-to-face, or other variations.

A3: CLINS 0012 – 0020 are for the supplemental facility and in person costs associated with changing option CLINs 0002-0010 from virtual to face‐to face training. It is possible for one instance to be delivered virtually and two instances delivered face-to-face, as in your example, if multiple options are exercised.

ie. In the below example, if the Government decided to exercise the option for CLIN 0002 the cost would be $1000 for a virtual training. If it is decided that this class will be conducted face to face, both 0002 and 0012 will be exercised making the final cost for a face to face training $1250.

If the cost for the virtual and F2F trainings are equal, CLIN 0012 would show a cost of $0.
