52.217-7 OPTION FOR INCREASED QUANTITY--SEPARATELY PRICED LINE ITEM (MAR 1989)

The Government may require the delivery of the numbered line item, identified in the Schedule as an option item, in the quantity and at the price stated in the Schedule. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor No Later Than 1 yr. from Date of Award. Delivery of added items shall continue at the same rate that like items are called for under the contract, unless the parties otherwise agree.

(End of clause)

The following have been modified:

SOLICITATION REQUIREMENTS:

Vendor must be JCP certified (See website http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp for further information.)

to receive access to drawings via FBO.

Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM)

(https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website.

FAR Clause 252.211-7003, Item Identification and Valuation (UID Requirement), is applicable for any unit price of $5,000 or greater.

Delivery dates have been added in Section F, DELIVERY INFORMATION, for system purposes only. See FAR Clause 52.211-8, TIME OF DELIVERY, for Required Delivery

Schedule.

52.211-8 TIME OF DELIVERY (JUN 1997)

(a) The Government requires delivery to be made according to the following schedule:

REQUIRED DELIVERY SCHEDULE

ITEM NO. QUANTITY Delivery Schedule

0001 5 5 mths. ADC

0002, if exercised 80 Ten (10) units 5 mths. after option exercise and 10 per mth. until delivery completion.

The Government will evaluate equally, as regards time of delivery, offers that propose delivery of each quantity within the applicable delivery period specified above. Offers that propose delivery that will not clearly fall within the applicable required delivery period specified above, will be considered nonresponsive and rejected. The

Government reserves the right to award under either the required delivery schedule or the proposed delivery schedule, when an offeror offers an earlier delivery schedule than required above. If the offeror proposes no other delivery schedule, the required delivery schedule above will apply.

OFFEROR'S PROPOSED DELIVERY SCHEDULE

0001 5

0002, if exercised 80

(b) Attention is directed to the Contract Award provision of the solicitation that provides that a written award or acceptance of offer mailed, or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, results in a binding contract. The

Government will mail or otherwise furnish to the offeror an award or notice of award not later than the day award is dated. Therefore, the offeror should compute the time available for performance beginning with the actual date of award, rather than the date the written notice of award is received from the Contracting Officer through the ordinary mails. However, the Government will evaluate an offer that proposes delivery based on the Contractor's date of receipt of the contract or notice of award by adding (1) five calendar days for delivery of the award through the ordinary mails, or (2) one working day if the solicitation states that the contract or notice of award will be transmitted electronically. (The term "working day" excludes weekends and U.S. Federal holidays.) If, as so computed, the offered delivery date is later than the required delivery date, the offer will be considered nonresponsive and rejected.

E15 WITNESS OF INSPECTION OR TESTS (JAN 2012)

Because of the critical nature of the material being furnished hereunder, a representative of the Naval Undersea

Warfare Center Division, Newport is available to furnish technical assistance on quality control matters and shall have the option of conducting Quality Assurance surveillance of inspections and tests performed by the Contractor.

The surveillance will be performed in conjunction with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Quality

Assurance representative, if assigned, and does not abrogate the responsibility or authority of such DCMA representative. The Contractor agrees to notify (TBD), in writing, when the material will be inspected and/or tested.

A minimum of seven working days is required to arrange such a visit.

52.211-8 TIME OF DELIVERY (JUN 1997)

(a) The Government requires delivery to be made according to the following schedule:

REQUIRED DELIVERY SCHEDULE

52.211-14 NOTICE OF PRIORITY RATING FOR NATIONAL DEFENSE, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS, AND ENERGY PROGRAM USE (APR 2008)

Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be DX rated order; X DO rated order certified for national defense, emergency preparedness, and energy program use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations

System (DPAS) (15 CFR 700), and the Contractor will be required to follow all of the requirements of this regulation. [Contracting Officer check appropriate box.]
