1.0 BACKGROUND

1.0 Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) manages the Enterprise

Product Lifecycle Management Integrated Decision Environment (ePLM IDE) which provides innovative model-based enterprise and analytics capabilities that empower decision makers to deliver improved warfighter solutions balancing performance, readiness, and affordability.

The Product Support Office Code 302 at NSWC PHD is leading the implementation of the ePLM IDE across Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and its extended enterprise initiatives, to include Air & Missile Defense Radar (AMDR), an ACAT I-

(COTS) software, OPUS Suite, to provide a capability to our customers, such as AMDR, to build availability and reliability models as mandated by product support Business Case

Analysis (BCA) requirements. This includes identifying optimized maintenance scheduling and optimized spares-pooling scenarios, including an extensive Level of Repair Analysis

(LORA) capability to maximize system availability while minimizing mean logistics delay time (MLDT) and realizing the highest possible cost avoidance to the fleet, program office, and warfighter. This is critical to NSWC PHD's roles and responsibilities as an In-Service
