Description of Amendment/Modification:

The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions from the solicitation. There are no other changes.

The following have been added by full text:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1. Proposal Content and Instructions for Preparation of Proposals, Paragraph 4.1 on page 27 states that “all offerors are required to submit a small business participation plan”. Evaluation Factor C on Page 31 and 32 then goes on to state specific small business goals. If an offeror is a small business concern can it achieve the goals through our own performance/participation as prime?

A1. If an offeror is a small business concern, it can achieve the goals through their own performance/participation as prime.

Q2. List of Items, Schedule of Requirements, Scope of Work, Terms of Reference, Bill of Materials required.

A2. A full list of requirements is provided in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation.

A4. Please review the Trade Agreement Clauses within the Solicitation. Note – this is a small business set aside.

Q12. Is this a Service Contract Act requirement?

A12. Yes. The applicable Wage Determination is Great Lakes, IL WD 05-2167 (Rev.-16).

Q13. Is the facility currently equipped with machines that allow multiple specimens to be processed at the same time or is the facility equipped with machines that can only process one specimen at a time? If the latter, how many machines are available?

A13. There are machines which allow multiple specimens to be processed at the same time at this facility.
